Med-wave Infrared Emitters&Lamps
The infrared emitter with a wavelength between 2.0 microns and 4.0 microns is called a mid-wave infrared emitter, and its filament temperature is between 800 degrees Celsius and 950 degrees Celsius, with a standard operation life of about 20,000-30,000 hours and a reaction time of 1-4 minutes. This product has the properties of a low cost, a high strength, a long operation life and so on. It has good heating characteristics for water, oil, plastic, rubber and other materials. However, this product in principle cannot be operated in an environment with water vapor and/or flammable gas, also cannot work in vacuum environment. If there are requirements which needing to operate in these environments, the two ends of the lamp should be placed outside the equipment cavity.
